Blog for the Heather Taylor Show

Heather Taylor brings her own particular Boomer experience to The Heather Taylor Show—from issues of midlife career changes to caring for young children and aging parents. Former host of the current events show, American Odyssey Radio on WEBR's Fairfax Radio in Virginia, Heather has been a freelance writer for more than a decade. Her travel and lifestyle features have appeared in a variety of publications, including The Washington Post and Family Fun Magazine. Heather's first book, Where the Trains Are! Wonderful North American Train Attractions for Kids of All Ages was published at the age of 40, the same year she greeted the arrival of her second child.

Heather received a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC and a Bachelor's degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She lives with her family in Washington, DC.
